SIGNUPS start this Saturday and EVERY Saturday in February at the Community Center behind the old Brighton gym by the ball fields. 9:00 am until Noon Fees this year are $70 for first child, $60 for second child and $50 for each child thereafter!!!

Pictures & Parent Shirts

I will be at the fields tomorrow night, Monday, July 11, 2011, to hand out pictures that have not been picked up as well as parent shirts for the Minors, Majors & the Dixie Boys State Shirts and any other late order shirts that were placed in the past two weeks. For any teams that have not advanced and are done with tournament play if you have not already done so please turn in your credential folders to me at this time. Thanks!

FALL BALL 2011

Sign-Ups will be July 23rd and 30th from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm at the concession stand. The kids will start playing the first of September. Contact Thomas Simpson via cell at (901)568-0907 or Home (901) 837-0978 for further information.

Dixie Boys State Tournament in Dyersburg

Dixie Boy Parents looking for lodging for the State Competition to be held in Dyersburg the weekend of the 15th Best Western is running around $80 and EconoLodge is running around $60

Tournament this Weekend

Brighton Dixie Youth will host the 2011 Class A/ T Ball District Tournament this weekend. Games begin Friday at 6:30pm and the Championship game will be Sunday 2:30pm. This will be a 7 Team Tournament featuring Dyersburg American, Madision North, Madison South, Munford American, Munford National, Crockett County and Brighton National.

Any local businesses wishing to advertise or donate items for the tournament, please contact me or Diana Mendoza by Thursday. Volunteers are still needed for all areas all weekend. Local restaurants can drop off their menus at the ballfield for distribution to the visiting teams.

I will be at the fields Monday night, June 27th starting at 6:30 to obtain signatures from parents for birth certificates and medical releases for Minor League, Major League and Dixie Majors. The credentials meetings are next week so it is imperative that we get the forms completed on Monday. Don't forget you need a 5x7 of the team with all names listed on the back in order to put in my folders.

Pictures and All-Star Shirt Orders

All Pictures and All Star Parent shirts will be handed out tomorrow, Thursday, June 23rd at 6:30 under the pavilion! See you there. If you still want to order All Star Parent shirts for parents or for kids to wear to school, you can still order! Major league and Dixie Major Parents...you can order while I am there tomorrow or Monday, June 27th when I am there to do paperwork for your teams to participate in the tournaments!

All Star Uniforms

The price will be $50.00 per player. This includes jersey, pants, hat, socks, belt, last name & number on back of jersey, first name on hat, and Dixie Youth patch sewed on the proper sleeve.

Sara and Cynthia will be collecting the All Star uniform money on Friday June 17th from 6:30 to 7:00 and again on Monday June 20th from 6:30 to 7:00 at the BDY Pavilion. Receipts will be given, at that time and ALL monies MUST be paid prior to receiving their uniform. No exceptions.
